High-Yield Instructional Strategies and PDSA: Better Learning Results Through Process Improvement

Purpose: To help teachers include research-based, high-yield instructional strategies and supporting activities in the regular and systematic improvement of classroom learning processes.

 

 Expected Outcomes:

The learner will be able to:

· Describe the role high-yield instructional strategies and supporting activities play in classroom
   learning systems

· Construct a plan for including high-yield strategies and supporting activities into classroom
   PDSA Cycles

·Identify ways of increasing student engagement through the use of high-yield strategies

 

Target Audience:

Classroom teachers, program specialists, instructional support staff

 

Participant Prerequisites:

Successful completion of the Continuous Classroom Improvement workshop and implementation of strategies learned
