| Short Cycle Predictive Assessment: Using Data to Improve School and Classroom Learning Processes |

Purpose: To develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to use short cycle predictive assessments as a way to monitor and improve student achievement.
Expected Outcomes: · Understanding of the role of short cycle predictive assessments (SCPA’s) in the school improvement process
· Understanding
of the role of short cycle predictive assessments as strategic
indicators of classroom · Strategies for analyzing and reporting SCPA results to monitor and improve school-level strategies
· Strategies
for assisting and supporting grade-levels, departments, and/or
classrooms in implementing
Targeted Audience: Trained School Improvement Teams/Goal Teams and/or teachers using short cycle predictive assessments as strategic indicators of classroom performance
Participant Prerequisites: Successful completion of Planning for Performance Excellence (School Version), Continuous Classroom Improvement, and/or Teacher and Student Partnerships recommended but not required
Recommended Time: 1 day workshop for trained School Improvement Teams/Goal Teams, teachers, and/or small group coaching and consulting sessions of 2–5 hours
