Workshop Learning Standard (Purpose): Increased understanding and implementation of a systems approach as the framework for building classroom learning systems.

 

 Required Knowledge and Skills (Expected Outcomes):

· Implementation of strategies learned in the Continuous Classroom Improvement workshop

· Awareness of the components and quality best practices of a high performing classroom learning
   system

· Rationale for use of a systems approach as the framework for classroom improvement driven by
   the Plan-Do-Study-Act Cycle

· Initial assessment of the classroom learning system and analysis of the results as a basis for
   personal action planning

· Introduction to tools for getting started

 

Target Audience:

Classroom teachers, program specialists, instructional support staff

 

Participant Prerequisites:

Successful completion of the Continuous Classroom Improvement workshop and implementation of strategies learned
