Purpose: To define a 3-year strategy that can be used to assess the degree of implementation of continuous improvement structures within schools and to develop a plan of supporting strategies for implementation.
Expected Outcomes: · Increased understanding of recommended sequence of implementation steps
· Adoption
of a systematic approach to ensure school improvement plan alignment,
· Identification
of opportunities for alignment of district requirements and expectations
with
· Strategies
for supporting schools and classrooms in developing, monitoring, and
implementing · Development of a process for and indicators of plan implementation
Target Audience: School Improvement Teams
Participant Prerequisites: Appropriate awareness-level training such as Orientation to Performance Excellence and Continuous Classroom Improvement preferred but not required
Recommended Time: This is an on going model of coaching, consulting, and support and cannot be delivered in a 1-2 day approach
