SCHOOL

Purpose: Designed to support the school in identifying and systematically implementing key steps in systemic school improvement.

Expected Outcomes:

· A school leadership approach that supports a systems approach and total staff engagement

· Increased understanding of a recommended sequence of school improvement

· Adoption of a systematic approach to ensure school improvement plan alignment,
   implementation, and staff engagement

· Strategies for supporting the school and classrooms in developing and implementing the
   high-yield strategies of the school improvement plan

· The ability to manage and analyze short cycle predictive assessment data for school and
   classroom PDSA cycles

· Development of a process for monitoring, analyzing, and determining degree of
   implementation of the school improvement plan

Target Audience:

· Primary target: building leadership team/school improvement team

· Secondary target: technical support team members, central office staff, school improvement
   coaches or consultants involved in assisting a school with its school improvement effort.
