 School Improvement Planning and Plan Implementation

Purpose:
To clearly define what it takes to develop and implement an aligned improvement plan for schools that use the Performance Excellence Criteria as the systems approach to continual school improvement.

· Increased understanding of how to apply the performance excellence systems approach to continual improvement

· Increased understanding of the role of the school improvement plan in a systems approach to school improvement

· Assessment of the school as a system

· Draft goals, measures, strategies, and an action plan for the school

· Learn strategies for leadership to engage staff to assist with the implementation of the school improvement plan

 

 

Target Audience:

· Primary target: building leadership team/school improvement team

· Secondary target: technical support team members, central office staff, school improvement
   coaches or consultants involved in assisting a school with its school improvement effort.
