JSA Approach to Coaching and Consulting for School Improvement

Purpose: Focus on building coaching competency to support school improvement planning, implementation, and deployment.

Expected Outcomes:

Increased competency in:

· Facilitating the development of school improvement plans

· Facilitating the development of quality training and deployment plans

· Development of strategies for facilitating the development and improvement of school
   leadership systems

· Development of strategies for deploying school improvement goals to the classroom level

Target Audience:

Leaders responsible for providing implementation support for schools, Baldrige trainers/coaches

Participant Prerequisites:

Successful completion of awareness-level training such as Orientation to Performance Excellence and Continuous Classroom Improvement and implementation/deployment-level training such as Leading for Performance Excellence

2 days
